Problem solving from an interdisciplinary perspective

SUMMARY
This article addresses a pedagogical intervention in the 1st Cycle, designed and implemented within the scope of Supervised Teaching Practice. The intervention carried out in the 1st year of schooling gave special importance to the motivation of students for the implemented activities and consequently for learning. The intervention focused on problem-solving from an interdisciplinary perspective, combining mathematics with stories. Problem-solving emerged in a creative environment, the aim being to meet the interests of students and provide meaningful learning.
