Academy of Sciences elects founding partner of Ludus as president.
Academic José Francisco Rodrigues was elected president of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences (ACL) for the 2025-2026 biennium. The election took place during the Academy's plenary session on December 19, 2024.
The new president, a full professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, researcher at its Mathematics Center (CMAFcIO) and founding member of the Ludus Association, has extensive experience in mathematics research and is interested in the history and dissemination of science.
